TrainPain to Receive Acceleration, Contacts, Funding from Swiss Innovation Agency
TrainPain, a graduate of the eHealth Ventures incubator, has been selected to receive acceleration and funding from DayOne—a Swiss innovation agency in Basel. TrainPain was selected as one of the three most promising solutions for pain management from the applicant group of 128 companies with digital health solutions for pain.

Chronic pain is a widespread problem among the population, with annual market costs of over $635 billion. Current solutions are mostly chemical, such as opioid-based drugs, and are associated with harmful side effects and the development of non-pharmacological solutions is a high priority.

During their time in the eHealth Ventures incubator, TrainPain developed their neuroplasticity-based technology, which involves measuring and rehabilitating somatosensory function via gamified sensory-perception tasks. TrainPain’s solution does not just address the symptoms of chronic pain, but rather targets the underlying maladaptive plasticity in the nervous system that perpetuates chronic pain.

The company has completed it’s go-to-market product and is currently completing a financing round of $2M to enable the commercial launch of this game-changing solution. TrainPain’s participation in the DayOne Accelerator will support its growth and facilitate penetration into European markets through key strategic partnerships.
